Backyard Bamboo Removal and Retaining Wall Rebuild Kent Washington
For this project the Kent Washington home owner had a huge bamboo infestation that had long plagued this owner's backyard in one corner by their patio. Our landscaping team dug in and pulled out the bamboo by the roots and cleared it out around the fencing and plants.
The next task was to reshape and rebuild that end of the current brick retaining wall, curving it into the fence corner and hillside where the bamboo once was. Then filled in the space with some fill dirt and secured the ground area with thick plastic to assure the bamboo wouldn't be able to creep back. Our team then finished the retaining wall redesign off with some beauty bark and securing brick overlay. The homeowner was more than pleased as the look of this space is night and day from what it started out to be.
